The University of Warwick will process your personal data provided on this online order form for the purpose(s) of managing your seed order through processing and shipment, as well as for internal analysis of seed requests.

The legal basis for processing this personal data is consent, which is obtained through your submission of this online form.

Your personal data will be shared with third parties external to the University of Warwick in accordance with the terms of the Standard Material Transfer Agreement (‘SMTA’) and as required by the Governing Body of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic for Food and Agriculture (‘The Treaty’).

For the above purposes, your personal data will be transferred outside of the UK, primarily to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (‘FAO’). Our agreements with the FAO contain provisions relating to data protection.

In accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, your personal data is also shared with the Animal and Plant Health Authority (‘APHA’) for phytosanitary certification. APHA is an executive agency of the United Kingdom’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (‘DEFRA UK’).

Your personal data obtained through your submission of this online form will be retained by the University of Warwick in accordance with our retention schedule.
